چکیده

The Research about Advanced Multi Material Decomposition of Dual energy in Computed Tomography image to find the liver diseases. The Existing system Multi material Decomposition(MMD) to find the liver disease using single energy. It was use Virtual Unenhancement algorithm. which is digitally removal of the effect of contrast agents from contrast-enhanced dual-energy CT exams. In proposed Method for Advanced Multi Material Decomposition of Dual Energy in CT image also find the liver Disease effectively using Dual energy. It can be used by Enhanced Liver fat Quantification algorithm. which accurately quantifies the fat concentration in the liver from binarypower CT exams. ELFQ can form the basis of a clinical application targeting the diagnosis and treatment of fatty liver disease. In this method also show the liver components in liver. The Advanced Multi Material Decomposition find the liver disease effectively then Multi material Decomposition.

Multi-Material Decomposition Using Statistical Image Reconstruction in X-Ray CT

Dual-energy (DE) CT scans provide two sets of measurements at two different source energies. In principle, two materials can be accurately decomposed from DECT measurements. For triple-material decomposition, a third constraint, such as volume or mass conservation, is required to solve three sets of unknowns from two sets of measurements. An image-domain (ID) method [1] has been proposed recent...

Monte Carlo Study of the Effect of Backscatter Materail Thickness on 99mTc Source Response in Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography

Introduction SPECT projections are contaminated by scatter radiation, resulting in reduced image contrast and quantitative errors. Backscatter constitutes a major part of the scatter contamination in lower energy windows. The current study is an evaluation of the effect of backscatter material on FWHM and image quality investigated by Monte Carlo simulation. Materials and Methods SIMIND program...

Clinical applications of virtual, non-contrast head images derived from dual-source, dual-energy cerebrovascular computed tomography angiography

Background: This study set out to evaluate the utility of cerebrovascular virtual non-contrast (VNC) scans. Materials and Methods: Conventional non-contrast (CNC) and dual-energy computed tomography angiography (DE-CTA) head scans were conducted on 100 subjects, of which 46 were normal, 15 had parenchymal hematomas of the brain, 13 had ischemic infarction, 22 had tumors, and 4 had calcified les...

Multi-Material Beam Hardening Correction(MMBHC) in Computed Tomography

In computed tomography (CT), the nonlinear attenuation characteristics of polychromatic X-rays cause beam hardening artifacts in the reconstructed images. State-of-theart methods to correct the beam hardening effect are mostly single material precorrections (e.g. water-precorrection), which are far less efficient when more than one material is present in the field of measurement. The use of tho...

Dual-Energy Computed Tomography Arthrography of the Shoulder Joint Using Virtual Monochromatic Spectral Imaging: Optimal Dose of Contrast Agent and Monochromatic Energy Level

OBJECTIVE To optimize the dose of contrast agent and the level of energy for dual-energy computed tomography (DECT) arthrography of the shoulder joint and to evaluate the benefits of the optimized imaging protocol. MATERIALS AND METHODS Dual-energy scans with monochromatic spectral imaging mode and conventional single energy scans were performed on a shoulder phantom with 10 concentrations fr...
